Global Estimation and Assessment of Monthly Lake/Reservoir Water Level Changes Using ICESat-2 ATL13 Products

چکیده
Accurate and detailed information on lake/reservoir water levels temporal changes around the globe is urgently required for resource management related studies. The traditional satellite radar altimeters normally monitor level of large lakes reservoirs (i.e., greater than 1 km2) world. Fortunately, recent Ice, Cloud, land Elevation Satellite-2 (ICESat-2) makes it possible to some small less km2). ICESat-2 ATL13 products provide observations inland surface heights, which are suitable estimation at a global scale. In this study, were used conduct assessment changes. We produced monthly 13,843 with areas 0.1 km2 all-season across globe, in 2257 targets smaller km2. total, average valid number months covered by 5.41 only 204 have all 2019. situ data from 21 gauge stations United States 12 Australia collected assess levels, exhibited high accuracy (RMSE = 0.08 m, r 0.999). According comparisons between ATL08 another study we found that both can accurately estimate reservoirs, but derived higher compared 0.28 general, product more convenient because HydroLAKES mask bodies, orthometric height (with respect EGM2008 geoid) surfaces, several quality parameters specific surfaces involved product.

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Estimation of Monthly Mean Daily Global Solar Radiation in Tabriz Using Empirical Models and Artificial Neural Networks
Precise knowledge ofthe amount of global solar radiation plays an important role in designing solar energy systems. In this study, by using 22-year meteorologicaldata, 19 empirical models were tested for prediction of the monthly mean daily global solar radiation in Tabriz. In addition, various Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models were designed for comparison with empirical models. For this p...

متن کاملAssessment of the Monthly Water Balance in an Arid Region Using TM Model and GIS (Case Study: Pishkouh Watershed, Iran)
Monthly discharge is one of the most important factors considered in designs and hydrological works. Some watersheds are not equipped with needed hydrometric equipment. In such a case average monthly discharge could be estimated from regional monthly water balance models of representative watersheds. In this study, Thornthwaite & Mather (TM) model were used in the Pishkouh watershed in arid cli...
